(Relaxnews) – After dressing some of the world’s most fashionable and beautiful women, designer Zac Posen has been tapped to dress a bottle of Italian wine.
Posen is collaborating with Trento-based Italian wine company Ecco Domani to create a wine label for its latest Pinot Grigio, made from grapes in the Veneto and Friuli region of the Alto Adige region, reported The Drinks Business, which cited PdNews.
“The design will reflect the bright, floral qualities of the wine, giving any table a stylish, refreshing look,” Posen told PdNews.
The wine hits liquor store shelves this summer for $10.99.
It’s not the first time fashion has collided with wine.
Designer Karl Lagerfeld has sketched a label for a 2009 Rauzan Ségla Bordeaux while E & J Gallo tapped British designers Basso & Brooke as “designers in residence” for Turning Leaf, the California winery’s traditional wine brand.
