Ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again – the festive season is closely upon us and what better way to jump into the holiday spirit than with the much-anticipated cake mixing ceremony at Radisson Blu Hotel and Residences Arboretum.
The festive season was inaugurated with the hotel’s annual cake mixing ceremony. In accordance with the time-honored customs of ushering in the holiday season and in preparation for the forthcoming Christmas festivities, the cake mixing event was conducted, symbolizing joy, happiness, and the spirit of togetherness.
This cherished tradition is eagerly shared with esteemed guests, media partners, and the vibrant Nairobi community by Radisson Hotels Arboretum.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Shivram Gangadharan, the General Manager, and Mrs. Vickie Muyanga, the Regional Director of Sales, Africa Radisson Hotel Group. Attendees were provided with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the process, personally blending an assortment of ingredients, including fruits and various liquors, ensuring the creation of the perfect cake mixture. The evening not only served as a commemoration of tradition but also as an occasion for socializing and forming connections.

Mr. Shivram, the General Manager of Radisson Hotel & Residences Arboretum, commented, “The cake mixing ceremony transcends mere tradition for the hotel. It signifies a celebration of community, a reflection on the year that has passed, and an anticipation of the upcoming festive season. We are delighted that you have taken the time to participate in this delightful event filled with festivity, tradition, and culinary delight, ensuring that the festive season commences on a high note.”

The 35-kilogram cake, meticulously prepared during the ceremony, will be ready for enjoyment on the 1st of December. Guests are encouraged to pre-order in advance to savor this delectable creation.
